Automation Alley's MI Smart Factory Tour is a program designed to expose the future workforce to some of the most technologically advanced smart factories in the nation, allowing students to explore Industry 4.0 technologies and in-demand manufacturing jobs right here in Michigan. MI Smart Factory Tour gets university students from across the country right on the factory floor to see Industry 4.0 technologies in action, including:

The Pilot Tour

Our 2018 pilot tour took place in October 2018 with students from Ohio University Russ College of Engineering and Technology visiting Fori Automation, Parker Hannifin, FANUC and Hirotec.
