Defense: Innovate and Integrate

The Federal Innovation Ecosystem Is Coming to Troy, Michigan

The Detroit Regional Defense Coalition and Oakland County Economic Development are bringing the Defense: Innovate & Integrate (DI2) Summit to Troy on November 5, 2026.

This is more than a conference. It’s an opportunity for Michigan companies to connect with the DefenseWERX innovation ecosystem and other federal pathways designed to help move promising technologies from: IDEA to TESTING to FUNDING to ADOPTION.

The summit will spotlight opportunities in:

• Advanced manufacturing
• Autonomy
• Robotics
• Mobility
• Aerospace
• Dual-use technologies

Companies will have the opportunity to connect with federal innovation organizations, explore procurement and contracting opportunities, and gain a better understanding of how to navigate federal innovation programs.

You do NOT have to be a defense contractor to contract!

If your company has a technology or capability that could address a defense or national security challenge, DI2 is designed to help you make the right connections.
